Mr. Haynes is an 'of Counsel' attorney with T.R. Spencer & Associates, P.C.. He is originally from New York City and spent part of his childhood in Norway. He has lived in Utah since 1992 where he graduated from the University of Utah Law School in 2000 and interned at Legal Defenders Association and at the Utah State Labor Commission. Mr. Haynes has been a licensed attorney since 2000 with a primary focus in Criminal Defense and Family Law. His practice also includes the areas of Personal Injury and Employment Law.
Mr. Haynes' work history includes building fiberglass boats, working in shipyards and roofing and he also served 5 years active duty with the United States Marine Corps including tours of duty in Desert Storm.
In his spare time Mr. Haynes works for the Salt Lake County Unified Fire Authority as a paramedic with the rank of Captain.
He is fluent in Norwegian and basic French.
